Buying preloved should feel exciting, not uncertain.

That's why every piece that comes through My Circular Wardrobe is carefully inspected by our team in London before it reaches you.

What we check on every piece

We look closely at the details that affect how a piece looks and wears:

• Condition: overall wear, marks, pilling or fading
• Fabric: quality, feel, and how it's held up over time
• Stitching and seams: making sure everything is secure and well finished
• Labels: brand, size and care labels
• Hardware: zips, buttons, clasps and fastenings
• Finishing details: linings, hems and the small touches that set good clothing apart

If we find anything that could affect the way a piece looks or wears, it goes into the listing so you know exactly what you're buying.

Authenticating designer pieces

For preloved designer clothing and accessories, we also carry out our authentication checks. We look at the details that help confirm a piece is genuine, so you can shop luxury labels with confidence.

This is what makes buying authenticated preloved fashion so different from simply buying second-hand. You get the chance to own something beautiful, often from a designer you've always wanted, with the reassurance that we've checked it carefully before it arrives at your door.

An eye for the details
